Governor General's Visit to Inverell

Last Thursday  Governor General Cosgrove and Lady Cosgrove visited Inverell for the day.  After laying a wreath at our Cenotaph, they attended a special afternoon tea function organised by the Inverell RSL Sub Branch. 

The Kurrajong Committee was honoured to be invited to give a presentation about the Kurrajongs and our recent re-enactment march.  After the Governor General addressed the 150 invited guests, committee members were presented to the Governor and Lady Cosgrove.
