Grant success

Our committee is delighted to advise that we have been awarded a $10,853 grant through the Federal Government's Anzac Centenary Grants Program for Kurrajong Week activities at Inverell.

The grant was announced by staff from the Minister for Veterans' Affairs, Senator the Hon. Michael Ronaldson and the Federal Member for New England, the Hon. Barnaby Joyce MP.

These funds will be used to provide replica white hats given to the Kurrajongs, the banners they carried during their march, street flags to promote the re-enactment and portable toilets. All funds will be spent locally.
