1915 War Leaflet

Recently this leaflet was found in an old book. It was published by the Inverell Argus Newspaper on Friday 30 July 1915, just a few days before a large recuiting rally held at Inverell Town Hall.

This rally was addressed by NSW State Parliamentarians, touring the country to promote enlistment for War Service. Following stirring patriotic speeches a large number of Inverell district men agreed to volunteer.

Perhaps this leaflet was part of the promotion of the event.
